Chemical and Acid Resistant Epoxy Flooring
Palma’s Palikrom 185 (3/16”) was the epoxy flooring selected for the chemistry laboratory, part of a $50 million renovation to the university’s Center for Chemical Research. The Center occupies a century-old structure designed by Charles McKim of the architectural firm of McKim, Mead & White. Palma recommended its Palikrom 185 to overcome the deficiencies of the original concrete floor. Palikrom provides and impermeable surface that resists damage caused by most chemicals and other toxic materials.
